The NT has been suspect of ‘airbrushing faith’ when the word ‘Easter’ was faraway from its annual Easter egg hunt.
The event, that sees many thousands of kids hunt for chocolate eggs at NT sites, has been referred to as Associate in Nursing ‘Easter Egg Trail’ for the past 10 years.
But this year it's been renamed the ‘Great British Egg Hunt’ to attractiveness to non-Christians, sparking anger among senior figures within the Church.
A voice for the Church of European country said: ‘This selling campaign … highlights the folly in airbrushing religion from Easter.’
Cadbury, that sponsors the event, aforesaid it aimed to attractiveness to non-Christians which it invitations ‘people from all faiths and none to fancy our seasonal treats’.
